Trailer
Plastic trash barrel with a lid, plastic lawn garbage bags, tarpaulins, water buckets, leads and halters, portable radio, flashlight, batteries, knife, scissors, wire cutter, (leatherman), duct tape, leg wraps, bleach, and a water storage tank for your trailer.
- Have halter plates made up with the horses name, your name, and a phone number stamped on them and attach them to the halters.
- Consider having your horse micro-chipped for positive identification.
- Make arrangements in advance for possible trailering options and keep a laminated, updated list at the barn.
- Try to bring hay if possible.
