A Veterinary Education Symposium

By  | Category(s): Announcements

We had a fantastic turnout for out for the Horse Owner's Veterinary Symposium with over 50 people attending. If you attended, we would love to hear from you. We posted the following questions to our Facebook page or you can respond to them them using our comment form below.

  1. What was your favorite part of the symposium?
  2. Did you learn something important that you can use for you horse?
  3. Any suggestions for future symposium topics?

We are thinking about an in-depth nutrition seminar of lectures on nutrition for conditions like Insulin Resistance, Equine Cushings, Geriatrics; others include nutrition for specific breeds & sports, etc. We'd like to educate owners on the latest & best nutritional info available for horses.

Quite a few of our Horse Owners' Veterinary Symposium guests were asking for Becky Meddleton's Rhubarb Bar recipe after sampling them at the symposium. It is her mother's recipe and true to her mother's style of cooking is easy to make, delicious, and stores frozen very well. Enjoy!

Original Announcement:

Please join us for a Horse Owners' Veterinary Symposium. We had so many Horse Owners wanting to attend the Symposium we held for Equine Veterinarians in February, that we have decided to do a Veterinary Symposium specifically for Horse Owners.

Our Horse Owner's Veterinary Symposium will present much of the medical information that was presented at our February Vet Symposium. We will bring you the latest in areas of Equine Medicine that affect so many of our Equine Companions.

We hope to equip you to better understand what your veterinarians are treating and why.
